What Is Permanent Jewelry?

Permanent jewelry also known as forever bracelets, are just what it sounds like! It’s a chain bracelet that is welded together and perfectly fits your wrist size. These welded bracelets serve as great symbols of friendship and love as many come in with their bestie, significant other, or family member to get matching bracelets. Visit our downtown paradise located at 68 Prince St in Soho to get zapped! Appointments are available to reserve here or just simply walk in and we will take care of the rest.

How Does Permanent Jewelry Work?

At Adina Eden, welding is done in just a few simple steps and the process only takes about 10 to 15 minutes. First, you choose your chain from our stunning options of 14k gold filled chains. Then, if you would like to add a charm they are ready for you to select. Once you have the chain picked out, one of our welders will fit the chain to your wrist and after you find the perfect length, the bracelet gets zapped! After you get zapped our welders will polish the closing and you are all set! See, we told you it would only take a few simple steps.

Most of the time people come in for permanent bracelets, but we also offer permanent necklaces, hand chains, anklets, and rings. If one of those styles interests you, just ask our welders, and they will get you set up. Now, the price will change if you choose to do another style than bracelet, as the amount of chain needed varies for the other styles!

What Is Permanent Jewelry Made Of?

The chains used in permanent jewelry at Adina Eden are gold filled. Most of the chain options we carry are gold filled. Gold filled means that the chain is made of a 14k gold tube that is filled with a base metal. Due to the thicker tubing, gold filled metal is much less likely to tarnish unlike a gold plated material. This means it will last longer and is a much more affordable price point than a solid 14k gold chain.

What Are The Different Chains and Charms?

This is just a closer look at the different chain options and experience we have at Adina Eden. For charms we have a small heart, evil eye, butterfly, bff, moon, star, flower, and many more shapes to pick from. As far as 14k charms we have all the birthstones to make your bracelet even more personalized! Come by the Adina Eden store to see the full set of options.

How Much Does It Cost?

At Adina Eden, the actual welding service is free, all you pay for is the chain and charm if you choose to include a cute charm in your stack. The gold filled chains start at $65 for a bracelet, $80 for an anklet, $100 for a necklace, and $125 for a hand chain. The gold filled charms are $35.

Because we love our customers, we created special welding bundles you can choose from since everyone is always a sucker for a stack! If you are wanting multiple weldings without charms, you can get 2 for 15% off, 3 for 20% off, or 4 for 25% off. Now if you want to add a charm you can get 15% off a welding and a charm, or 25% off 2 weldings and 2 charms. Now this is your sign to grab your besties and get zapped!

Can Permanent Jewelry Break?

This is a question we get all the time when customers are in the store to get welded. The simple answer is that there is always the likelihood that the welding could come loose, especially if you are very active. Another reason it may break would be if the chain got caught on something and tugged away. We always suggest you be mindful when you get a permanent bracelet because these things can happen, we are all human after all! If your bracelet were to fall off or break, stop by the store and we can get it zapped back on you.

Can Permanent Jewelry Be Removed?

Say, you have had your forever bracelet on for a few months or years and you do not want it anymore, how can you remove it? All you need to remove a permanent bracelet is a pair of scissors. Simply cut the bracelet at the clasp where it was welded and your bracelet will come off.

Permanent Jewelry FAQ:

Now, there are a few more questions that come up when it comes to permanent jewelry. So, we thought if you made it this far, you may be thinking the same things.

Will Permanent Jewelry Tarnish?

At Adina Eden, our forever bracelets are done with gold filled chains. This means that they have less of a likelihood to tarnish due to the thicker coating of god that surrounds the base metal. Forever bracelets are meant not to take off so of course we chose a metal that is made to last but also one that is more affordable! Remember that body sprays, lotion, and sunscreen all contain chemicals that may cause tarnish on your permanent jewelry, so keep this in mind with your welded bracelet.

Can you have permanent jewelry through TSA?

Just like other jewelry, forever bracelets are no different when it comes to the metals, so if you keep your jewelry on going through airport security, then you are just fine with a permanent bracelet!

Can you have permanent jewelry during surgery?

We are not medical experts, so we cannot tell you yes or no to this question. Instead, we suggest you consult with your doctor before a surgery or procedure whether or not you can keep your permanent bracelet or jewelry on during the operation.

Can you have permanent jewelry in an MRI or X-RAY?

Just like we mentioned above, we are not medical experts by any means, so we suggest consulting with your doctor before receiving an MRI or other medical screening like a X-Ray.

Permanent jewelry at Adina Eden is not just a stylish accessory, but it serves as a meaningful symbol of your great relationships. With our wide variety of chains and charms you are sure to find a combination that expresses your true self. Stop by our Soho store and get zapped with your loved ones. Don’t forget to make an appointment ahead of time to skip the line, but we also always welcome walk-ins, see you soon!
